love is like waiting for a bus??

When the bus come, you look at it and you said to yourself, "eeee... so full...cannot sit down one". So you said to yourself, "I'll wait for the next one." so you let the bus go and waited for the second bus.

Then the second bus come, you looked at it and you said, "eeee...this bus so old...surely very uncomfortable one." So you let the bus go and decided to wait for the next bus.

After a while, another bus came. It's not crowded and not old but you said, "eeee... no air-con one...and the weather is so warm, better wait for the next one." So again you let the bus go and decided to wait for the next bus.

Then the sky started to get dark as it is getting late.

You panicked and jump on to the next on coming bus. It is not until much later that you found out that you had boarded on to the wrong bus! So you wasted your time and money waiting for what you want!

Even if an aircon bus came, can you ensure that the aircon bus won't break down or will the aircon be too cold for you?

So people...(mostly girls but guys too!) want to make sure that what you want is not wrong. But it wouldn't hurt to give other people a chance, right? If you found that the "bus" doesn't suit, you just press the red button and get off the bus!

But wait...I am sure all of you have this experienced before. You saw a bus is coming (the bus you want of course) you flagged it and the driver acted blur by pretending not seeing you and zoomed pass you!

The bottom line of being loved is like waiting for a bus and whether you want to get on the bus and give the bus a chance depends totally on you and walking alone is just like being out of love.

If you love someone set him/her free. If he/she comes back to you, you know they're yours. If they don't then it was never meant to be.
Remember to always say what you mean. If you love someone, tell. Don't be afraid to express yourself.
Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right time, it might be too late.
Seize the day.
Never have regrets.
And most importantly, stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person that you are today.
The difference between doing all that you can or having regrets which may stay with you forever.
Friendship is never an accident. It is always the result of high intentions, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution. It represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
And remember.... Keep Smiling....coz...
"Of All Things You Wear, Your Smile Is As love returns to me, As I return to you, As love returns to.. I guess this is really wondeful and make a lot of sense. Love is never silence, it has so much to say and it is our greatest blessing when we give it all away...-

the perfect time to do something good for ourself is yesterday. but it's not to late if we do it today

Healing Shades...

WITH of without realizing it, we constantly use colours to describe ourselves: in the pink of health, purple with rage, feeling blue, seeing red or green with envy. According to colour therapy practitioners, there is a link between colours, emotions and healing properties. Here’s how you harness the power of colour:

Blue
The colour of sadness (feeling blue) yet a shade that cools, soothes and calms. It is the colour of wisdom and mental clarity. Blue's pacifying effect on the nervous system brings about relaxation and is ideal for curing sleep problems. Mediating on the colour blue is said to ward off nightmares. A blue bed sheet might do the trick for insomniacs but an overdose of this shade could lead to melancholy or inertia.

Orange
Orange is the colour of happiness and a zest for life. It frees the emotions, stimulates the mind and lifts the spirits. Like the citrus fruit that's chockfull of health benefits, the colour orange keeps you energized and ready to face life's challenges. An apple a day may keep the doctor away but an orange a day will keep depression away.

Red
Red is a favourite shade during Chinese New Year, not for its colour properties but because the Chinese character for red- hong is similar to that for prosperity. But red is a powerful colour. Business pow-wow, a red dress-shirt or jacket portrays authority, confidence and ambition. This colour is a favourite with those who enjoy attention. But too much red in our system can make us feel agitated and impatient as red is also the colour of anger. Used sporadically- a touch of lip-stick, a glint of nail colour, a shade of eye shadow- it can bring vitality to your day.

Green
Green represents growth, renewal and serenity. Think green carpets of grass, the first bud of a rose and Christmas trees. When you've been staring at the computer for too long, switching your focus to a patch of green can be relaxing for the eyes and soothing to the emotions. But the green of swaying palm trees can lull you a sense of lethargy as you settle in a state of complacency. If you're guilty of losing your sense of challenge, at a little red or orange to liven things up.

Yellow
Yellow, the colour of sunlight is the shade of happy, intellectual beings. Yellow- loving people are good at expressing their thoughts as yellow is associated with wisdom, understanding and clear thinking. While strong yellow shades are said to be favoured by those who are arrogant or conceited, timid beings are drawn to the opposite- pastel yellow shades.

Purple
Purple brings out our spiritual health and enhances our artistic talents and creativity. Harnizan Hamid, an aura soma (colour therapy) consultant, says that people who are drawn to the colour purple are inclined to do charity work. They tend to be kind, just and self sacrificing humanitarians. The herb lavender is commonly recommended as an antidote to sleeplessness as purple is a calming colour that balances the mind an acts as a sedative.

White
White represents goodness, purity and wedding dresses. Its soothing likeness brings peace, comfort and clarity. If you are dying for some time and space to reflect on what you want in life, white gives you the freedom and space of uncluttered openness. But too much of white can be a bad thing. Think cold and isolating hospitals.

Pink
Pink is associated with unselfish love. It soothes, calms and nurtures with its gentle warmth, all the attributes of a loving mother, which is why it is such as a feminine shade. This girly colour is believed to replace feelings of irritation and aggression with love and protection. So the next time you are drawn to fluffy pink pillows and candy pink cotton floss, it is just an expression of your sensitive nature.

Gold
Gold is the favourite colour of many women. It represents wealth, status, power and wisdom. The Midas touch is never lost on anyone and like yellow, gold is associated with the sun- mentally revitalizing, energizing and inspiring. Put a gold band on a woman’s finger and watch her face light up like the sun.

Black
Black is the colour of mystery, the infinite and some say evil. Although it is the opposite colour of pureness (white) and tends to bring darkness and gloom, black isn’t necessarily sinful. Black can cloak you in comfort and create a sleek and sophisticated look. But this dark shade can prevent us from growing and changing if we continuously use it to shield our weaknesses from the world.

Silver
Silver is the colour of bells and the moon. Yes, the moon isn’t yellow; it is silver as sung in the song, “By the light of the silvery moon…” And like the moon, silver is ever changing, mirroring the emotions of a person. Silver helps balance and harmonize your mind. While gold makes you jump for joy, silver keeps you rooted to the ground.

My Laksa Moment

Actually, I'm not a fan of laksa. But when I ate Laksa Sarawak for the fist time a few years back, I suddenly fall in love with laksa. But, only Laksa Sarawak. For me, waht makes Laksa Sarawak special is the herbs used. It tasted sooooo goood!!!
Yesterday I went to CS and ate Laksa Sarawak. It is my so called 'golden aim' to taste it before I'm off for practicum (which is after CNY). So, we went to Laksa Shack and have it.
What a day! The laksa tasted totally different from what I had tasted before at Mid Valley. The atmosphere at this place is also different.
I really want to eat it badly, but this is what I get.
If I go to KL next time, I'll make sure that I'll eat Laksa Sarawak at MV. And maybe I must learn how to make it to!!!
Anybody have the recepie??? :)

Becoming A Teacher...

A week at Convent had really become an eye opener for me. For the first time of my life, i walk out of the Maktab, offically, as a teacher trainee.

After this CNY, officially, I'll go to school to teach. This is the moment for us to face the harshness of real life. If before this we can only comment on this that happens in the educational system in and out of Malaysia, now, it will be our core business.

Hmmm... frankly, I have to admit that I'm afraid to face it. If people said that size doesn't matter, it is a big matter for me. As a pettite teacher-trainee, of course I'm afraid of big, king-sized students.

What's more that I can say? It is the cycle of life. Before this I'm a student, and now, I'm a teacher...

Que sera sera, whatever will be will

The future is not ours to see

Que sera sera, what will be, will be..

Going off to Semenchu!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hello 2008,
Good bye 2007.

After going through the ups and downs in 365 days of 2007, now the new is on the door. New year resolutions... is almost a must for everybody. But for me, I think resolution is not just for new year, but for everyday.

Anyway, I hope that this new year will bring me all good lucks especially after Chinese New Year. Why? Because I was born in THE RAT YEAR!!! The most cunning animal among the other 12 animals. It also means, I'm turning 24 this year! Yahoo!!!
